Welcome to Grape Street! Thanks for stopping by! I am excited to start offering my mei tais to the public. Babywearing is an excellent way to bond with your baby and is a great way to get extra snuggles while you do other household tasks.

Mei Tai’s are great for front and back carrying and are adjustable to fit both Moms and Dads! Not only are slings a great alternative to a stroller, they are perfect for wearing around the house when baby needs some extra mommy or daddy snuggle time. They're great all purpose carriers for the whole family or as a gift for a friend.

Features:
• All seams are double reinforced and topstitched
• Weight bearing/stress points are reinforced with x-boxes
• Shoulders and waist band are padded for comfort
• Body approx 14” wide and approx 18” long
• Shoulder Straps 80” long x 4” wide
• Waist straps are approx 34” long x 4” wide
• Sleep hood included at no extra charge

I am currently offering two different styles of carriers -- regular mei tai straps or half-buckles.

******* IMPORTANT INFORMATION *********

I live in Houston, which is currently in the direct path of hurricane Ike. If it hits us there is a very good chance that I will be without power for a couple days. I may not be able to respond to emails or receive orders until early next week. If this occurs, I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful girls. I started babywearing when my youngest was born. My older daughter was 20 months old and still demanded a lot of attention. Babywearing allowed me to cuddle my youngest and play with my oldest at the same time.

Soon I was addicted to babywearing. I wanted to get more carriers, one to match each of my outfits. To avoid giving my husband a heart attack, I decided to save some money and make carriers rather than buy them. I found that I really enjoyed making carriers.

Friends started asking me if they could buy my carriers and Grape Street Style was born.

Safety Information

Keeping your baby safe is your responsibility. By reading and using these instructions you are agreeing to this. Check your knots and straps often to be sure that the carrier is tied properly and that baby is not entangled in the straps. Inspect carrier before each use and do not use if the seams or fabric are ripping or if is worn.

Please use caution and common sense while wearing your baby. Do not do things that you wouldn’t do if you were holding your baby. This includes things like – cooking, handling sharp objects or hot beverages, rollerblading, horseback riding, bicycling or jogging, swimming, etc. Do not use your sling while sleeping or riding in the car. Be careful passing through doors or turning corners, lest you bump your precious little one’s head.
